'Avengers: Infinity War' may kill off a multitude of superheroes including Iron Man, Thor and even Hawkeye. Speculations of Vision engaging in a deadly battle with Thanos have emerged. Vision may also see his death in the upcoming back-to-back Marvel saga.

The upcoming epic superhero film may see the deaths of many familiar superheroes. According to Collider Movie Talk, Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark a.k.a. Iron Man seems to be holding the top spot for a timely death. John Campea, John Schnepp and Mark Ellis of Collider were quick to speculate on the idea despite Downey Jr. being a mainstay cast member in the series.

Other characters rumored to be killed off include Chris Hemsworth's Thor, Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye, Anthony Mackie's Falcon and Don Cheadle's War Machine. Surprisingly the Collider crew spared newer cast members from the chopping block. The characters most likely to be spared from their demise include Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch, Mark Ruffalo's Hulk, Chadwick Boseman's Black Panther, and Tom Holland's Spider-Man.

Meanwhile, Paul Bettany's Vision officially became part of the Avengers team at the end of 'The Avengers: Age of Ultron', yet speculations have come up regarding his death before 'Avengers: Infinity War' comes to a conclusion. According to Moviepilot, the almost-human android was created by Ultron and Helen Cho then programmed by Tony Stark and Bruce Banner. He eventually fell in love with humanity and came to join Earth's mightiest superheroes.

The two-part sequel will feature Thanos as the main supervillain as he attempts to retrieve all six Infinity Stones to use with his Infinity Gauntlet. According to WhatCulture, Vision has one of the Infinity Stones, the Mind Stone, embedded on his forehead making him a likely target for Thanos' wrath. There may be an impending battle between Vision and Thanos, which could not end well for the former.

'Avengers: Infinity War' is a back-to-back installation to be directed by Joseph and Anthony Russo. Part 1 is scheduled to hit theaters on May 4, 2018 while part 2 will debut a year later on May 3, 2019.
