To celebrate Rise of the Tomb Raider's arrival a few days from now, the game released a trailer with daring escapes and a familiar face. This game seem to be another big Xbox-exclusive by Microsoft.
"When I was young, it was just my father and I," Lara Croft said in the trailer shared by Digital Trends. "In his last years he was obsessed with myths about immortality."
Almost all of the pre-release trailers for the game have taken the fans to snowy Siberia. However, ir seems that Lara will also take a trip to Syria this time in order to finish the things her father started, says Digital Trends. Lara visits several of the tombs which the game developers have presented in behind-the-scenes footage.
The first game in Tomb Raider series showed some incredible and cinematic escapes from buildings and landscapes. These events seem to come back in Rise of the Tomb Raider with Croft running away of a flooding building then hiding behind a wall while water shoots past her.
After this escape, Lara made her way to Siberia in order to search for "the divine source." She's joined by Jonah, her ally on the original game. It looks like Lara's ice pick will used often in the sequel as she'll be scaling several frozen mountains.Christian Post added that the trailer also features "Rise of the Tomb Raider's" hubs. These hubs are even larger than the previous "Tomb Raider." Also known Remnants, these hubs will be occupied by non-playable characters.
Lara needs to be friends with the NPCs to find the ones she can trust. She must win their trust through working with them and completing her tasks. Once the tasks are completed, the NPCs will eventually help her in the mission. These new characters will then lead her to get to new places, acquire others items, and gain necessary abilities.
Rise of the Tomb Raider will be out on November 10 for Xbox One within the US, says Hardcore Gamer. The release in Japan is on November 12.
The latest trailer seem to excite many gamers. With the daring escapes and the appearance of an ally's face, Rise of the Tomb Raider is expected to be a big hit.
