With patch 5.1 on Rock Band 4 comes several improvements on the game features and bug fixes. However, some players are still waiting on the DLC to be released on European PlayStation Store.

High Def Digest confirmed that there are three new classic tracks, which cost $1.99 each, are now
available in the game. These are The Hollies - Long Cool Woman, Iggy Pop - Lust For Life, and Robert Palmer - Bad Case Of Loving You.

With the latest patch on Rock Band 4, the PS4 and Xbox One exclusive will feel the improvement in the surround sound. Similarly, those band stand-ins will be more useful in Quickplay. Most of the other fixes made are PS4 specific such as the ability to deploy on vocals using touchpad and stream PS4 audio.

As part of the specific updates, custom characters are now allowed as band stand-ins. The session musician screen also displays custom characters now including the prefab characters, while the Quickplay will be using the latest band's stand-ins in order to populate characters

Among the bug fixes include the possibility to gain guitar solo achievements even the guitar solo cues are turned off. It is also possible now to change facial expression of shellposemetal_low so it will be less goofy.

Rock Band 4 was launched on 6th October, said Euro Gamer. However, more than half of the Legacy DLC and the Aerosmith DLC which launched a few weeks ago are still unavailable to be purchased using the EU PlayStation Store.

The recent PlayStation Store update still did not mention Rock Band 4 which caused angry customers to publicly vent their anger straight to the developer Harmonix's forum and Reddit.

The features on Patch 5.1 of Rock Band 4 seem to meet many gamers' expectations. While they are happy with the latest update, others are still waiting for the DLC on European PlayStation Store.
