HTC One A9 Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update Confirmed in November

HTC One A9 is the first smartphone of the Taiwanese giant to receive the official Android 6.0 Marshmallow upgrade as confirmed by a well-known site dedicated to Android firmwares. Google's new build is expected to bring in expansion in Google Now, mobile payment systems, apps permissions and battery, along with HTC's most coveted Sense 7.0.

Android 6.0 Marshmallow software is confirmed debuting first to HTC One A9 phone among fresh out of the box devices. This means that Marshmallow will be the pre-installed software of the device.

According to You Mobile, the official upgrade will come in 15 days before Google's very own Nexus devices will have it. Alongside a laundry list of improvements and new features, Android 6.0 Marshmallow will roll out with Sense 7.0 user interface (UI) with it.

Sense 7.0 UI has been made popular among HTC device owners for its innovative and advanced features. The same report has underscored that this feature has been the primary reason of HTC's delay in its update as integration and development procedures still had to take place.

The announcement has been done through HTC US's Twitter account that it will be fast tracking the process to be able to roll out the update within 15 days. The tech giant was the first mobile manufacturer to announce its Marshmallow plans back in August.

Android 6.0 Marshmallow is expected to roll out on HTC One A9 this month.

Meanwhile, other manufacturers who have announced their Marshmallow plans include Samsung, LG, Sony, Huawei, Lenovo and Asus. As far as the abundance of information in the web, Samsung is the most generous revealing that its official Marshmallow release will begin in the first quarter of 2016.

Among its lucky devices include the Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 Edge+, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6, Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy S5, Galaxy Tab A 9.7, Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and Galaxy Tab S2.
