'Mad Max: Wasteland' Movie: George Miller not buying the 'expectation game'; Intense, risky stunts will be seen

After the box office hit success of the "Mad Max: Fury Road", the next sequel which was called "Mad Max: Wasteland" is rolling in production. However, the movie director revealed further details about the latest movie franchise.

During an interview with Deadline, the Australian director George Miller revealed that Tom Hardy will have more dialogues. However, Mel Gibson will not return as he indicated that the audiences might pull out of the movie for a bit.

Reports have relied with their beliefs that the next project will be carrying the title of "Mad Max: Wasteland". But, Cinema Blend noted the revelation from Miller that the film won't be having such title. "The best thing I can say is that we're definitely in discussion about making more of these, but the timing of it, I'm really not sure," he said. "[It] probably won't be called Wasteland. I can say that. It was just the working title we gave it."

The Academy Award-winning director has also recognized his mixed emotions regarding the sequel's schedule and the storyline elements. According to the Movie News Guide, these have become a traditional practice.

Having been an Oscar Award winner for his "Happy Feet" a few years ago, people are highly expecting for a similar success with the "Mad Max: Wasteland" movie or whatever they call it. However, Miller insisted that he is not buying the "expectation game."

According to him, they are contented with the progress they are experiencing right now. He even said he did not expect the award he received before and this might still work for him now.

The 70-year-old director admitted that there were some risky stunts which they first thought they could not make it. Although the riggers and the stunt crew have figured the physics of the activity for the "Mad Max: Wasteland" movie, they experienced a pendulum effect.
