"Supergirl" Episode 3, titled "Fight or Flight" reveals one of Superman's nemeses, Reactron (Chris Browning), returning to seek vengeance through the Man of Steel's cousin, Kara Danvers aka Supergirl (Melissa Benoist). Viewers will also get to see Superman for the first time in this episode. Meanwhile, Cat Grant (Calista Flockhart) steals a private interview with Supergirl.

Reactron is described to be Superman's "old nemesis." In an interview with "Supergirl" executive producer, Andrew Kreisberg, he shared that Reactron has been fighting with Superman for years and neither of the two have ever won against the other. Now, Reactron has decided that the best way to finally get Superman was to come to National City and kill Kara.

When Supergirl faces Reactron, her friend James, who is friends with Superman, suggests that she should ask help from her cousin. But Kara decides that she can handle this on her own. She wants to show that she can be her own hero, she then removes the "S" symbol on her outfit and cuts her hair to emerge as "Powergirl".

Kara fights Reactron but is unable to do so alone. This is when Superman flies in and saves Kara, and finally defeats his long time enemy. Kara thanks her cousin for saving her and Clark also thanks her for helping him finally take down the villain he could not defeat for years.

Also in this episode, Cat finally interviews Supergirl in the rudest manner possible. Things went awry after all the editor's gruelling questions as Supergirl accidentally admits that Superman is her cousin. Cat then writes the storym but when Kara reads it she decides to confront Cat about her negative write up about the superhero.

Meanwhile, romance brews between James and Kara, but Lois Lane's sister, Lucy, shows up to meet James. Could the two of them have some history that Kara needs to know about?

Stay tuned as more excitement flies by for Kara Danvers as she continues to save the day and her career on "Supergirl", Mondays on CBS.
