"The Big Bang Theory" fans, specifically those who are hoping for Amy and Sheldon to get back together, might now lose hope now that the two will be moving on with other people. A new teaser trailer for Season 9 Episode 8 has been released and fans got to see the possible new woman in Sheldon's life.span>
In a report by Cinema Blend, "The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 Episode 7 showed Sheldon having another meltdown when the subject about his break-up with Amy has been brought up by Penny.
He also revealed while being interviewed for a documentary for Spock that he had an engagement ring, which he was supposed to give to Amy but did not have the chance as she broke up with him. Sheldon went to see Amy but ended up being broken-hearted again as he saw Dave, the new love interest of Amy.
The new woman in Sheldon's life is said to be played by Analeigh Tipton, a former "America's Next Top Model" contestant. It has been reported that Tipton's character name is still under wraps and will be the new love interest of Shelton but it is still unknown if this will develop into something more, Christian Post reported.
According to Ace Showbiz, the latest episode of "The Big Bang Theory" entitled "The Mystery Date Observation" will be showing Raj and Howard helping Sheldon find a new girl he can date.
As for Amy, she will be going on another date with Dave but she will find out that he is a huge fan of Sheldon's work. This then frustrates Amy as Dave wants to find out more about Cooper than his date.
There is still no final say on the possibility that Sheldon and Amy will still get back together. Showrunner Steve Molaro shared in an interview, "Right now, the dynamic has been fascinating and interesting. We're seeing all new colors for both of them as well as the way it impacts the group. There's not a set plan - we're feeling this out along in same way Amy is."
"The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 Episode 8 is about the new people in the lives of Sheldon and Amy following their break-up. The CBS show is back on its original time slot, Thursdays at 8.
