The fourth episode of "The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 entitled "The 2003 Approximation" already aired and in it, fans were able to see Sheldon having to go back to the time when he was looking for a roommate as Leonard is set to move out and live in with Penny. It remains unknown if Sheldon will find a replacement for Leonard.
In a report by Comic Book, Sheldon has learned about his future living arrangements since Leonard and Penny got married. He decided to revert back to the way things were in 2003 when it was a simpler time before Leonard met his wife. Another major thing that happened in the latest episode of "The Big Bang Theory" was when Raj and Howard decided to form a band to play at Stewart's comic book store.
Entertainment Weekly reported that the fourth episode of "The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 showed Sheldon not handling the news very well. Amy can no longer help him because they are not together anymore, Penny is on his hit list, his mother is so focused on church, Leonard's mom has not been responding to his messages and even Siri cannot give him a solution. He then turns to Bernadette who encourages him to look for another roommate.
However, TV Fanatic shared that Sheldon started interviewing roommates but none of them are good enough. He then realizes that he has changed a lot since 2003 specifically with regards to his emotional needs. The publication shared that because Sheldon has become comfortable with Leonard around, having him move out will be making him vulnerable again especially since he and Amy just broke up.
Leonard and Penny then visit Sheldon after dinner and found the apartment stripped bare. Sheldon then tells them there are more changes to come such as the newlyweds wanting to move into a house, Bernadette and Howard divorcing, and the possibility that Amy will marry someone better than him. Penny then assures Sheldon they will take things slow and promised that they will stay in both apartments for the time being.
As for Raj and Howard, the two have come up with new songs for their band but Raj's girlfriend Emily questions their ability to make music.
"The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 Episode 4 showed Sheldon trying to find a new roommate as Leonard plans to move in with Penny for good. Raj and Howard tried to make a band for Stewart's comic book store and end up making songs that aren't too appealing. The CBS series airs Mondays at 8 PM.
