"The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 might just see Penny and Leonard getting married as actress Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting teased in a recent interview that Penny got all her dreams come true. It was also reported that the mom of Sheldon Cooper, Mary, and Penny's dad, Wyatt, will reprise their roles.
According to International Business Time, Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting, the actress playing the role of Penny on "The Big Bang Theory" shared that the relationship of Penny and Leonard will be the focus of Season 9's first episodes. In the season 8 finale, it remains to be unknown whether or not Penny and Leonard got married because the latter confessed that he kissed another woman despite being in a relationship with the former.
Penny and Leonard were travelling to Las Vegas when the latter made the confession and Cuoco-Sweeting teased, "Between Leonard and Penny, all the dreams came true for me. I'll put it that way. I've been waiting many seasons for it."
The actress also shared that they already shot a couple of episodes and she says that they are amazing. She added that the first episodes for Season 9 will be answering unanswered questions in the season 8 finale.
It was also reported that Sheldon's mother, Mary Cooper, and Penny's father, Wyatt, will be seen in "The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 as they will reprise their roles, Yibada reported. Mary will be part of the first episode "The Matrimony Momentum" while Wyatt will be seen in the show's third episode. The first episode of the show will be centered on the alleged engagement ring that Sheldon was supposed to give to Amy.
Meanwhile, Digital Spy reported that the stars of the CBS series are the highest paid T.V. actors. Forbes just released their list for the highest-paid male actors and Jim Parsons led the list followed by co-star Johnny Galecki. Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar ranks fourth and fifth.
"The Big Bang Theory" season 9 will premiere this Sept. 21 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
