In the ninth season of "The Big Bang Theory", things are not looking great for Sheldon and Amy in terms of getting back together as Mayim Bialik revealed that her character will have a new flame in the future. It has also been reported that in the fourth episode, Leonard will be moving out from his shared apartment with Sheldon.
In a report by Christian Post, Amy dumped Sheldon in the season 8 finale of the hit CBS series and the latter's efforts in the first episodes of season 9 are not really helping him win his love back. Bialik shared in a recent interview that Sheldon and Amy fans will be more disappointed as her character may be involved with someone else in the future.
She shared, "We actually have some very interesting stuff coming up in that arena. It's OK to keep it a little bit real in that someone like Amy probably would pursue someone." Other details about this are she might be dating someone that is the complete opposite of Sheldon, someone who is not geeky and is super hunky. She did, however, clarify that the new man could be hunky and still intellectual. As for Sheldon, Bialik revealed that it could be possible Sheldon could date a female scientist who is like Penny but more academically inclined.
According to International Business Times, in the third episode of "The Big Bang Theory" season 9, Amy has not told her parents yet about the split with Sheldon. Raj and Howard also kidnapped Leonard for a bachelor party.
International Business Times UK also revealed that in the fourth episode, Leonard will finally be moving out from his shared apartment with Sheldon. Sheldon then asks Amy if she wants to be his roommate. However, she rejects the proposal leaving Sheldon very upset.
"The Big Bang Theory" season 9 will see more of the deteriorating relationship of Sheldon and Amy as well as Penny and Leonard's new life together as husband and wife. The show airs on CBS Mondays.
