The previous episode of Marvel's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." brought a big twist, revealing that Lash is actually Andrew in disguise. In the next episode, titled "Chaos Theory," viewers will find Daisy Johnson and the team fight to protect the Inhumans. Meanwhile, Melinda May confronts her ex-husband about his big secret.
A clip from the upcoming episode shows Daisy Johnson (Chloe Bennet) giving Rosalind Price (Constance Zimmer) a tour of S.H.I.E.L.D.S.'s facilities, and explains why their way of handling Inhumans is more humane than A.T.C.U.'s methods. Price does not agree with Daisy and says, "You really think this is more humane?" Daisy reiterates that their goal is to observe and educate people, which may take time. Rosalind responds by saying that they don't have that luxury. Rosalind also admits that she is afraid of people like Daisy. She asks the agent, "Do you even know your own strength?" Rosalind believes that people like Daisy can cause much harm to humans if they wanted to. Daisy thinks otherwise and says that not everyone is like that. "Some is enough," Rosalind interrupts, and she continues saying that "For every Daisy Johnson there's a Lash."
Learning the truth in the last episode left the S.H.I.E.L.D. team in a serious mess. In "Chaos Theory," the team will struggle to adjust to all the new information they've gathered earlier. However, it will be difficult to find solutions for these disturbing new discoveries especially for Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen), who found out that her ex-husband, Andrew (Blair Underwood), is Lash's alter ego. The episode's teaser flashbacks on the former couples' lovely vacation together. But the present situation won't ever get close to a romantic date by the beach, as the trailer shows Andrew pointing a gun at his ex-wife.
CarterMatt reports that May will be confronting her ex-husband about what she recently discovered. Their conversation might lead to violence as the trailer shows, but just hope that questions would lead to clearer answers about Andrew and his "dark secrets." He had such a deep connection with Melinda May in the past and yet he kept this big secret from his ex-wife. Perhaps he was just protecting her or maybe, his transformation happened only recently.
