Producer Simon Kindberg revealed the upcoming "Deadpool" trailer in December and a hinted shared universe the X-Men movies. Actor Hugh Jackman on other hand had fans wildly guessing about a possible cameo with his tweet onset which featured the film's lead actor, Ryan Reynolds.

In an interview with Collider, Kindberg stated that the story arc of "Deadpool" takes place in the "X-Men" universe. The story though happens in the present and is not in the same timeline as that of recent "X-men" movie "Days of Future Past" and upcoming "X-Men: Apocalypse". The producer also added, "it acknowledges everything that's happened in those other movies and the universe." With this, fans might be in for some hints about the events in "X-Men Apocalypse". Deadpool after all premieres during the first quarter of the year, before the "X-Men" movie.

More in the interview, Kindberg also talked about how "awesome" the trailer is going to be. He said that it is close to being ready and fans are in for a treat this coming December. Fans though would have to rely on the footages that Ryan Reynolds usually posts, like the viral video that he posted for Halloween. Kindberg also said there could be no other perfect actor than Reynolds to play the part of Deadpool. At this point, everyone already knows that.

Adding to overall excitement of the movie is a tweet from Hugh Jackman ("Wolverine") a couple of days ago. In the video was Ryan Reynolds in full Wade Wilson makeup imitating Hugh Jackman and his aussie accent. In Kindberg's interview, he confirmed that there is some minor post production filming and if that's the case, could it be that Wolverine was indeed in the set of "Deadpool" when the tweet was posted? Fans are raving about it primarily because there are a lot of comedic interactions between the two characters in the comic books. Knowing how Reynolds is nailing the Deadpool act means fans are in for a treat if all the speculations are true.

One last detail Kindberg talked about in his interview is the confirmed pansexuality of the character in the movie. The producer states that they want to stick as close as possible to the "Deadpool" canon. Kindberg said it is going to be a very Deadpool movie with a radical tone and radical level of violence.

"Deadpool" will hit the theaters on February 12, 2016.
