Developed by Psyonix, Rocket League shows a possibility of a release for additional platforms before the year ends. The game has gained success after its release on PlayStation 4 and PC few months ago.
Rocket League's huge success in just a short period of time has increased the demands for the game to be available on other platforms. However, the game developers has been silent on a possible release of the game on Xbox One or any other platforms.
Although there are no confirmation on the matter, something is in going on based on the statement that the game developers gave in a recent interview reported by Red Bull.
When CEO and studio director of Psyonix, Dave Hagewood was asked regarding a possible release of Rocket League on Xbox One, he did not confirm or deny the new game version. However, he teased a possible announcement that Rocket League can become available on other platforms and this might happen before the end of 2015.
"We have to ask: will the game ever come out on Xbox One?
[Laughs] I can't say. We're looking at all kinds of platforms and there may be some announcements coming up at some point - hopefully before the end of the year - but I can't confirm that," says the report.
Another interview with Psyonix's Jeremy Dunham early this year was reported by Pure Xbox. Dunham was said to be suggesting an Xbox One edition of the game when he said "We are absolutely, 100 percent going to other platforms."
Meanwhile, a new Rocket League was released this week according to Geek Snack. This update now enables an access to the Custom Mutator settings and ability to change weather effects. New community flags and gameplay tweaks are also part of this update on online improvement.
Ever since Rocket League got released, many fans hope to play it on different gaming consoles. This possibility of Rocket League's release on other platforms might be the one they're waiting for.
