"How To Get Away With Murder" co-stars Viola Davis and Conrad Ricamora talked about the show’s hot sex scenes, offering some scoops on what goes behind the scenes while filming in a couple of recent interviews. In other developments, ABC has announced the official season 2 finale date of the Shonda Rhimes-produced series.
Last Thursday’s episode of How To Get Away With Murder plotted a steamy scene between Oliver (Ricamora) and Connor (Jack Falahee) inside Prof. Keating’s classroom. In light of this development, the actor hashed out the hot sequence in an interview with TV Line.
Ricamora noted that Murder is “very sex positive”, citing that it’s the last show to air on ABC’s Thursday night block.
As per that scene’s script, he shared that it suggested “69-ing” and that they had to go through “detailed choreography” before the production and the cast involved shoots it.
“I don’t worry about network censors or what’s too racy, though. I just focus on the story and what my action is supposed to be,” he allowed.
Murder co-star and lead actress Viola Davis was able to relate on this matter in a separate report from Vulture. The Emmy-winning actress admits that she knows that her badass character is not having “realistic sex”, stressing that she’s certain that the sex scenes translated in the show “go a little far”.
“Now we know people don’t have sex like that. Nobody puts down the towel,” she commented.
