‘Street Fighter 5’ Official Trailer Highlights Ryu VS Ken; Capcom Reveals New Downloadable Characters

Street Fighter 5 released its official trailer emphasizing a tutorial mode through a sparring between Ryu and Ken. Capcom also publicized during the Paris Games Week that they will introduce new characters as DLC.

A new video material was released by game developer Capcom underlining the new training mode for Street Fighter 5, Realty Today wrote. The training mode of the game was added to the beta. Also, the trailer features young playable characters Ryu and Ken. What is more amazing is that the video has a new Japanese voice talents.

The site continued by describing the game's tutorial mode being exceptional as it has a built in narrative. It brings out young Ryu and Ken in their classic Street Fighter wears being taught by Master Gouken.

The Street Fighter V tutorial mode demonstrate the basic of the game through Ken and Ryu, cited IGN. As a tutorial mode, the video explains the basic movements and attacks of Street Fighter 5. It is like a throwback as the iconic fighters appear in their Alpha days. Speculations run that since both characters are in their Alpha/Zero attire, they may be unlockable costumes at some time. Since the footage includes Japanese voice acting, there is an English voice-acting available online.

Although tutorial has been release, Capcom shares thin information regarding the story mode of Street Fighter 5, IGN added. Characters such as Birdie, Charlie (Nash), Karin, and R. Mika make their initial attendance to the Street Fighter game. Rumors also point out to Street Fighter III veterans, Alex, Ibuki, and Urien joining the Street Fighter 5 rooster.

Game Spot mentioned in their post that Street Fighter 5 producer Yoshinori Ono baited people attending the Paris Games Week with six new downloadable content characters. The new characters can be unlocked though gameplay of microtransactions. Capcom has established that the game's DLC will be free.

Street Fighter 5 is slated to be available on February 16, 2016.
