'Equals' co-stars Kristen Stewart and Nicholas Hoult, who play forbidden lovers Nia and Silas, are reportedly seeing each other off-screen. Jennifer Lawrence, Hoult's ex-girlfriend, admitted heartbreak and loss after break-up.
According to Movie News Guide, 'Twilight' breakout star Stewart is allegedly dating co-star Hoult. The actress reportedly ended her relationship with visual effects producer Alicia Cargile, who she'd known for years. Cargile is known to have worked with several music industry giants including Maroon 5, Alicia Keys and Ke$ha. Some media outlets reported that Stewart and Cargile were engaged at some point.
During Stewart's interview with The Daily Beast, she admitted that both she and Hoult went through painful high-profile breakups - her with 'Twilight' co-star Robert Pattinson and him with 'X-Men' co-star Jennifer Lawrence. She revealed that it was a good time for her to make the movie with Hoult. She said, "We all felt akin by how much we've been through, and to utilize that is so scary... And to acknowledge it, reassess, and jump back into it? Usually you want to move on. But at least we could use some of that for some good. This movie was a meditation on firsts."
Meanwhile, Lawrence opened up about her relationship with Hoult and how their split left her devastated during an interview with Diane Sawyer. According to ExtraTV, she revealed that keeping a relationship with her 'X-Men' xo-star was difficult since she also had to prioritize her films such as 'The Hunger Games'. She said, "These movies had been my life for so long and they had to come first in everything. I was also in a relationship with somebody for five years and that was my life. So my life was this person and these movies and we broke up around the same time that I wrapped those movies."
She added that although she doesn't see herself as getting married in the future, she would still want to be a mother. She said that people come and go in your life and one doesn't need anyone or anything else to complete them.
