Previous rumors of the delay of the "Fifty Shades Darker" movie production left the audiences speculating. After long months of being low-keyed regarding the upcoming movie, Jamie Dornan has finally talked about his excitement for a darker, sexier Christian Grey.
During an interview with the People Magazine, Dornan insisted that he's prepared to reprise his role as the wealthy, business-savvy but sadistic Christian Grey in the sequel movie of the "Fifty Shades of Grey". The hunk then hinted that the audiences will see more of him. "I'm looking forward to embodying Christian again - and getting a chance to show more of him," he said.
The report may seem to confirm the reports about him being in a nude, more erotic role. According to Metro, the "Fifty Shades" fans especially the women are looking forward to seeing more of Dornan in the upcoming "Fifty Shades Darker" movie.
Furthermore, director James Foley (House of Cards) has been hired for the film after the previous director Sam Taylor-Johnson left the director's chair. Design N Trend reported that the original director left because of a misunderstanding with E.L. James, the novel writer.
James Foley is best known for directing the 1992 Oscar Award nominee drama Glengarry Glen Ross. Sources say Niall Leonard who will be responsible for the script will be working with his wife, E.L. James. Recently, reports also sprout that the studio will be producing "Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shade Freed" back-to-back.
Dakota Jackson will also be reprising her role as Anastasia Steele. The studio, however, has not yet announced any update about the casting procedure for the new characters - Jack Hyde, Mrs Robinson and Leila Williams. However, Charlize Theron (Prometheus) is rumored to play as Mrs Robinson while Cara Delevigne might also take the role of Leila Williams.
The audiences are also hoping to see either of Ian Somerhalder (The Vampire Diaries) or Theo James (Divergent) to portray Jack Hyde. The casting announcement might somehow be released just before the "Fifty Shades Darker" movie rolls into production in early 2016.
