Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update for LG G4 Spreading Across Europe

The Android 6.0 Marshmallow firmware update has already been around for two months, but a lot of handsets that are set to receive them haven't gotten it yet. The LG G4 will be scratched off that list in the days to come, as it will be receiving the update for Android 6.0 in the coming days.

Just like last year's release of the Lollipop to LG users, the company quickly released this year's latest Android mobile OS to users in Poland, but left other users hanging. Then the Korean users started getting their hands on Marshmallow. Now it looks like LG will be sending out the update to other LG G4 users.

According to Phone Arena, the update will not be made available OTA, and users will need to use LG Bridge. The update will need to be done while synced to a computer in order to receive the 1.55 GB update files.

Aside from reported Android 6.0 Marshmallow features like Doze Mode, fingerprint scanners and new UX designs, the LG G4 will be receiving updated Knock Code settings and some renamed apps like QMemo+ in the notification panel, which is now Capture+, says GSM Arena.
