Each remaining artist of The Voice Season 9 gave everything they got to earn a spot in the Top 9 during this week's live performances. One artist is going home tomorrow following America's Twitter Save.
Team Gwen's Jeffery Austin opened the show with "Jealous" by Labrinth. It was a powerful vocal that Adam Levine said transported everyone to a different place while Pharrell Williams felt Jeffery's honesty through the lyrics.
Blake Shelton's first artist to perform was Emily Ann Roberts who sang "She's Got You" by Patsy Cline. It sounded like the song was written just for her.
Next up was Braiden Sunshine of Team Gwen. He sang Imagine Dragon's "Radioactive". While he received praises from Adam and Blake, many are puzzled over Gwen Stefani's song choices for him.
The first Team Adam artist that performed in "The Voice 9" stage was Shelby Brown reports Rickey. Adam felt that her singing "Go Rest On That High Mountain" by Vince Gill could be her big moment this season and it was!
Korin Bukowski came next with her song "Same Old Love" by Selena Gomez which Gwen said allowed Korin to show her sassy side. It was the most confident of her performances so far but if it will be enough to keep her from the Bottom 2 this week remains to be seen.
Next were back-to-back performances of two Team Adam members. Amy Vachal performed first with the NSYNC song "Bye Bye Bye". She got praises from her coach for her inventive arrangements.
According to Inquisitr, Jordan Smith proved once again with his performance of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" that he is the person to beat in "The Voice 9". Blake said it gets boring talking about his performances because there are only so many ways to compliment them.
There is no shortage of confidence in Zach Seabaugh's performance of "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" by Queen reports IB Times. Adam joked that it was sad Zach has no confidence before giving his approval for his overall performance.
The only remaining artist of Pharrell's team showed incredible vocals in singing "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" by Cyndi Lauper in spite of her coach's ill-advised stripped-down and emotional arrangement for the song.
Barrett Baber of Team Blake closed the show with Conway Twitty's "I Love To Lay You Down". His vocals sounded like that of a professional artist that has been performing for a lot of years.
