The Android 6.0 Marshmallow update has recently reached the users of LG G4 in European regions. Now, it is expected to roll out in U.S. as well through LG Bridge desktop software.

According to Tech Times, LG smartphone fans, most especially the owners, have something to look forward to as the South Korean tech giant has already released its Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for the G4 handsets in both Poland and South Korea, and European countries.

In order to install the Android 6.0 Marshmallow, users of LG G4 will have to download the LG Bridge PC or Mac application. LG Electronics has created a dedicated web page to provide the lists of some of the new features that will be available in the G4 Marshmallow update.

Meanwhile, International Business Times cited some of the enhancements that the Android 6.0 Marshmallow will bring to the LG G4 handsets. The newest upgrade will carry in battery optimization, Knock Code mode, apps permission and Silent Mode. To reduce battery consumption, applications that are not in use for a certain period of time will automatically go to sleep mode. The Knock Code will enhance the user experience of the latest operating system.

In addition, users can now allow or deny permission before installing an app. The apps permission will first notify the user of the handset and install an app only if the owner gives permission.

The Android 6.0 Marshmallow update will also bring in a new look to the apps and memory settings. The user interface will become simpler and easy to use. The auto-brightness feature will spontaneously brighten the screen once the user reaches a dark place. Additionally, the LG G4 QMemo+ notification has also receieved a few tweaks as it has now been renamed Capture+ while LG Bridge has become LG AirDrive.

Furthermore, Gotta Be Mobile stated that the LG G4 Android 6.0 Marshmallow update should arrive as an over the air software upgrade. A notification should appear on users handsets, or owners can manually check by going into settings > about phone > and check for updates.

While LG hasn't given an exact date, G4 users from U.S. can expect to receive an update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It is likely to roll out soon, now that it has hit Poland, Korea and throughout the European region.
