‘Far Cry Primal’ Gameplay Footage to Debut at Game Awards 2015

Ubisoft's open world, action survival Far Cry Primal shall have the unveiling of its first gameplay footage in the upcoming Game Awards 2015.

The news was first revealed by Producer Geoff Keighley via Twitter on what fans can expect from this year's Game Awards. According to Keighley, the event shall honor the best titles as well as unsung video game developers. Moreover, he revealed that Ubisoft's Far Cry Primal would be one of the games to be premiered at the event, alongside Quantum Break. As of the moment, only selected plot points and cinematic footages of the Stone Age set game was revealed in its existing trailers. Latin Post reports that Creative Director Jean-Christophe Guyot commented that the "Stone Age is the perfect setting for a Far Cry game," as the game usually puts a player at the edge of an unknown environment, in a lawless and savage, but beautiful frontier.

The Far Cry Primal gameplay footage would be included in the "10 World Premieres" of the 2015 Game Awards. The event will be held on Friday, December 4, at 02:00 am GMT. Furthermore, Gamereactor reveals that this year's Game Awards event would be the first time that a gameplay is shown from the Stone Age action.

Far Cry Primal, as reviewed by International Business Times, takes a player back to the savage Stone Age, in the land of Oros. Players will get to know Takkar, the only survivor of his tribe from an ambush. In the cruel and savage world, Takkar faces the deadly wilderness in an attempt to reunite his tribe. And its gameplay features and details would finally be revealed for the first time in the upcoming Game Awards 2015.

The 2015 Game Awards shall be held on Friday, December 4, at 9:00 pm ET and 2:00 am GMT. The event will be shown via livestream across PlayStation Network, YouTube, Xbox Live, and Microsoft Theatre for Los Angeles. Watch out for Far Cry Primal's gameplay footage in the 10 World Premieres. The game is scheduled for release on February 23, 2016.
