In "The Affair" Season 2 episode 10, Alison (Ruth Wilson) gets a surprise visit from her former brother-in-law Scotty Lockhart (Colin Donnell) to discuss business.
Scotty wants the Lockharts to get a fair share of the earnings from Noah's (Dominic West) successful novel since his whole family was dished dirt in it reports Christian Post. The novel titled "Descent" is a semi-autobiographical account of Noah's affair with Allison. Scotty and Cole (Joshua Jackson) are upset with Noah for dragging their family's name down simply because he wanted to add more drama to the story.
IB Times earlier revealed the possibility that Scotty could be the father of Alison's daughter. He has been desperate to help his family which is struggling financially and the reason for their meeting was he wanted Alison to tell Noah that he should give the Lockhart family the money that is due them from the book.
In the promo video for the coming episode of "The Affair" Season 2, Noah was in a session with his and Alison's therapist, Marilyn. She asked him if she got attracted to other women while still married to Helen (Maura Tierney) and if he did something about it. Noah replied that he was faithful to his wife except for Alison.
Marilyn wanted more details and wanted to know why he was afraid to cheat again. She thought that it was because he already did it before. It was then that Noah confessed that he almost cheated again with his publicist Eden.
Meanwhile, Cynthia Nixon, who is famous for portraying Miranda in "Sex and the City" will play the Manhattan based couple's therapist Marilyn Sanders, who is helping Noah and Alison with their troubled relationship according to Variety.
The sneak peek for "The Affair" Season 2 episode 10 has made fans curious how Noah's session with Marilyn ended and if it enlightened him with his relationship with Alison. What do you think? The show airs Sunday nights on Showtime.
