It was quite a shock that an Xbox One exclusive game would be available in other platforms. This happened when GAME UK listing shows that Gears of War 4's availability is not just for Xbox One but also for PC.
Tech Times wrote that if a retailer listing holds true then PC owners will enjoy Gears of War 4 which is an Xbox One exclusive. GAME which is a British retailer of videogames listed the fourth series of Gears of Wars for both PC and Xbox One. Fans have doubts that the listing maybe an error or technical anomaly but the news adds excitement especially for the PC gamers. It is not the first time that an Xbox One limited will share with PC because it came about already with Ryse, Titanfall and Dead Rising.
Many are waiting for confirmation but both Microsoft and The Coalition stayed quiet on the matters. Rod Fergusson said "Nothing to announce yet. Obviously something I'll be happy to talk about at a later time," the report continued.
Tech Times also mentioned that the Gears of War: Ultimate Edition which was introduced during the Electronics Entertainment Expo 2015 appears to suggest that it has a PC port for Gears of War 4. Although, no confirmation yet from The Coalition, Gears of War 4 PC port is likely to support a mouse, keyboard and gamepad controllers.
Segment Next seems to support the notion that Gears of War 4 is possibly be released in PC version following the distribution of The Ultimate Edition for PC.
According to Game Debate, while game retailers sometimes make faults but GAME has no reputation of making faulty listings. Video retailers also definitely aware of private information such as this, thus stirring interest in the gamers' part.
The post also cited Head of Gaming Phil Spencer mentioning their plans of bringing more titles to PC and Gears of War 4 looks like the clear choosing.
