Need for Speed is a famous name for racing franchise open for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Recently, 2015 version of the racing game was released and fans share their views of the game.

Pop Matters wrote that Need for Speed is a racing game that is swift, glitzy and relatively unpretentious. While there are complaints about the different versions of the racing franchise, gamers still kept on playing the game because it is openly entertaining. The 2015's Need for Speed has its failings and quirks. The game now is not simple as it used to be because of the sequence of menus and mechanics that add to its complexity. The 2015 version has not as much of fun as previous versions and the gameplay is unclear.

The site added that in the previous game, if the player wants a faster car, all to do is buy or get it through winning but this year's edition, it is much cheaper to upgrade the current car. But this pose a problem for players who have no idea with the menu options such as "differential," "sway bars," "intake manifold," or "forced induction."

As of the gameplay, Game Union talked about the goal of Need for Speed to tell a story regarding an anonymous player joining a race, pursuing the attention of real world motorsport. At the same time seeking the approval of street racing notables such as Tokyo Underworld delinquent Shinichi Morohoshi, car builder Akira Nakai, and Urban Outlaw Magnus Walker.

One of the exciting features in the gameplay is that the player has the chance to handle these idols in a head-to-head race. Each figure stand for one of five main themes in Need for Speed: Outlaw, Speed, Crew, Style and Build, the site mentioned.

However, Gazette Review observed that there is a problem with the game requiring for players to be online to compete with other racers around the world. Online gaming is widely held but it posed a problem particularly for countries where internet connection is erratic. Need For Speed (2015), the newest title, needs an Internet connection even when player is advancing through the story.

This feature is highly criticized by NFS fans saying it is a big hindrance especially during racing competition, wrote Gazette Review. NFS 2015 always online condition also set aside the pause button. Players use the garage as a pause to the game.

Fans are hoping to see updates to fix the inconvenience the Need for Speed 2015 edition carried. Need for Speed 2015 was released on November this year by Electronic Arts.
