"The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 Episode 10 will reportedly see Sheldon choosing Amy over his childhood hero. The two will also be together again even after Sheldon turned down Amy's offer in Episode 9.
According to International Business Times, in Episode 9, Sheldon and Amy spent their Thanksgiving together at an aquarium and towards the end of the episode, the latter called the former and suggested that she wants to get back together with him. However, Sheldon said that he excels at many things but moving on from Amy was not one of them and wanted to remain friends.
The official synopsis and a promo video for "The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 Episode 10 has been released and it looks like Sheldon had a change of heart. Accordingly, Sheldon will hear a song from the radio and will decide to change his mind about Amy's offer. Just to give a hint, the song is a "Beach Boys" single.
Latin Post also reported that in "The Earworm Reverbation," Sheldon will realize how much Amy has done for him and how much she means to him. However, since Amy has been hurt about being turned down, she will be inviting Dave over for dinner despite the previous awkward date when all he wanted to talk about was Sheldon.
It is unclear how Sheldon will tell Amy about his change of heart. The show also teases that Sheldon will give Amy the gift of intimacy as a birthday present in the mid-season finale of "The Big Bang Theory" on December 17.
As for Sheldon choosing Amy over his childhood hero, Christian Today reported that Episode 11 entitled "The Opening Night Excitation" will see Amy's birthday as well as the "Star Wars" opening night fall on the same day. Sheldon will be torn about what to choose and while thinking about what to do, he will fall asleep. He will dream about Dr. Proton, who will guide him regarding his decision. Dr. Proton will tell Sheldon that he should prioritize Amy's birthday because he can watch "Star Wars" the next day.
"The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 Episode 10 will air on December 10 at 9 PM on CBS. Sheldon and Amy will get back together again.
