Publishers Sega and Dwango Music Entertainment has finally announced the PS Vita release of the rhyme game, Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X. It is a Vocaloid based game developed by Crypton Future Media, whose Japanese version is scheduled to release on March 24, 2016.
New features of the game include a wide range of options and controls. The first feature is the Live Quest mode wherein the quest depends on different areas of Cute, Beauty, Cool, Neutral, and Chaos. The new version also features a Module Drop in which a random module is rewarded by completing a quest. On the other hand, Rush Notes module aids in gaining high scores while Live and Produce allows players to produce their own live songs, as reported by Yibada. Players are allowed to choose songs by Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, and Len, including other Vocaloid songs.
Meanwhile, publisher Sega has released a teaser and official case artwork for the upcoming game. The 16-second video featured the song 'Hajimete no Oto', or 'The Sound of the First Time' by malo. The artwork, on the other hand, is an original illustration by KEI. Crunchyroll also reports that there is a version of the game which comes with an Aime arcade card featuring the same artwork.
It has also been announced that Ryo of Supercell will be performing the opening theme song for the game. The original track is entitled 'Tsumi no Namae' or 'Name of the Crime'. While Ryo and his band Supercell may be a staple performer in many Vocaloid themes, Siliconera added that the band also worked for non Vocaloid performances such as the 'Bravely Second' for Square Enix.
