By

The long rumored HTC One M10 is expected to be unveiled two months after the One X9's release. Some of the upcoming device's specs and features are already predicted.

According to Christian Today, the Taiwanese company HTC is planning to release the HTC One M10 soon with an enhanced features. This is in order to make up for the awful feedback on the HTC One M9. Some reports claim that the improved model will be launched sometime in spring 2016.

The HTC One X9 is currently scheduled for an early Q1 2016 release which will be followed by the launch of HTC One M10 several months later. This would be likely in two to three months after One X9 hit the stores. This scheme will give the One X9 enough time out in the market before the public's attention is turned to the One M10.

The One X9 is expected to be launched as early as January 2016 which means the HTC One M10 might formally become available by March or April. The HTC One M9's launch was noted to be in March this year so it is likely for the HTC One M10 to see a similar release window.

Furthermore, Latinos Post cited some of the speculated features that the HTC One M10 might carry. This handset might show some changes in the area below the bezel which includes the HTC logo. Its camera can even be better by enhancing its autofocus technology and optical image stabilization as well as setting aperture at f/2.0. It is also reported that the newly introduced HTC Vive, an advanced VR headset, might also work together with the M10.

Christian Post predicts this handset would also have a 5-inch touch screen display with 4K pixel resolution, a dual-SIM support, 4 GB RAM and a 64 GB or 128 GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 2 TB through the micro-SD card slot. Interestingly, rumor has it that the upcoming smartphone will also have a support for wireless charging.

The HTC One M10 will also have features that will be integrated in a smartphone for the first time. These include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chip and a pair of 27-megapixel cameras. Additionally, the device is expected to have a USB Type-C port, a 3,500 mAh battery and the Android 6.0 Marshmallow mobile OS.

The two-month gap release of HTC One M10 and One X9 could pull the company from the M9 flop, considering the ample time it gives to the other to catch the attention of the consumers. In the meantime, the devices' exact releases are still awaited from the tech giant.
