Xiaomi is reportedly to launch another promising device, the Redmi Note 4G Prime. Starting on December 15, at 10:00 in the morning IST, the new smartphone will be available exclusively through Amazon India and Mi.com.
The Chinese tech company has been teasing the release of its Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G Prime through Twitter in the previous days. It posted some tweets saying that the Prime is coming, which even made a confusion that the smartphone being teased was the Redmi Note 2 instead of the Redmi Note 4G Prime. However, the company made it clear that it was the Redmi Note 4G Prime that they are pertaining to and not any other models.
According to Xiaomi, the handset will be priced at Rs. 9999. It will sport a 5.5-inch HD display with 1280 by 720 pixel resolution. The Redmi Note 4G Prime is also backed by an improved 3100mAh battery and it features a 16GB internal storage, expandable up to 32GB through a micro SD card.
Under the hood, it will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset coupled with 2GB LPDDR3 of RAM. It also runs on Android 4.4 KitKat-based MIUI 7 operating system right out of the box.
Camera wise, the Redmi Note 4G Prime boasts a 13-megapixel primary shooter with autofocus and LED flash as well as a 5-megapixel secondary snapper. Additionally, it supports dual sim card slot, Bluetooth 4.0, GPRS/EDGE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, micro USB 2.0, 3G, 4G, and GPS connectivity.
