"The Expendables 4" will push through as it confirmed some cast and its filming and release date. The movie will be an R-rated one again so anticipate for more blood and a lot more action. Producers are hoping the new installment will achieve higher hits than the previous movie franchises.
Names like Peirce Brosnan has been confirmed to be in the star studded action movie. Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson also wants to be in the movie, as CrossMap reported. He wanted to be one of the bad guys and be the one to hunt the good guys. Another impressive name that voiced out he is in the movie is Hulk Hogan. Like Johnson, Hulk Hogan might be one of the antagonists.
On the other hand, names like Jackie Chan and Bollywood star Salman Khan refused the offer to star in the fourth installment of the successful franchise. MovieNewsGuide reported that Khan doesn't want to leave Bollywood, making Bollywood fans sad because they were anticipating for him in the movie. They also reported that the filming won't start until next year. It will ultimately break the every-two-years release they are doing. The first installment was released in 2010. Then the other two followed in 2012 and 2014.
VineReport said the budget for the film is around $100 million as the film will obviously be going to continue with the all-action star approach similar to the first three movies. Vine Report also said the financing was from China. A huge amount of the sales of the third movie were from China also. According to executive producer Steven Paul, the movie is adored in the country because of its old-fashioned "shoot 'em up entertainment." In addition, the upcoming film is set to shoot a part of it in China.
Even though the third installment was not well received including the first two, producers are hoping this fourth one will be. The 'The Expendables 4' filming will eventually start in 2016 and it will take another year for it to be released in movie and in the global theaters.
