'Wolverine 3’ Update: Hugh Jackman Wants Perfect Script as He will play Wolverine one last time; Introduces New Characters

Since "Wolverine 3" will be the last time Hugh Jackman will play as Wolverine or Logan he wants it to be perfect. Seeing as it is his farewell for his character in the movie, he said that he will not start with anything unless he sees a perfect script.

New details were also announced, "Wolverine 3" will feature two new X-Men characters, X-23 and Omega Red.Yibada stated that one of the new characters has the same powers as Logan and even undergone the same procedure as him. X-23 is the female version of Wolverine and she was created by an organization named "The Facility". The other one is a Russian mutant. Omega Red hunts Logan's past for the carbonadium synthesizer which enhances his natural powers.

Jackman said he made a commitment to himself and told everyone that until the script is finalized he will not start shooting for the movie. According to GamesRadar, Hugh Jackman further explained himself as to how he feels about this last "Wolverine" movie, "I have very high hopes for that movie." He said that there are not so many characters that leave big impression to the movie industry like Wolverine. So the final chapter has to be absolutely in its best condition. He believes with working with Jim Mangold and he was impressed by him a lot of times already so he is certain that they will do great.

The film producer then added to what Hugh Jackman told the media, saying Mangold is a great storyteller so they will definitely get the script everybody wanted. Simon Kinberg also stated that they are really close to the script as of lately. He said to Collider that he can't talk about but there is something that greatly excites High Jackman and James Mangold.

"Wolverine 3" is set to release on March 3, 2017. If they want to follow the release date they need to work harder and faster.
