CBS has released the official description for the Jan. 7th installment of Elementary. Titled “Miss Taken”, the show’s winter premiere will also feature the guest appearance of John Heard. In other developments, Gotham’s Richard Kind has booked a guest starring role in season 4.
When Elementary returns next year, viewers will find Watson upset with her stepfather. On the episode, she will be furious after learning that Henry, her stepdad, wrote a crime novel based on her work with Sherlock. The conflict will also present an underlying issue between the two that’s going to be fleshed out.
Elsewhere, Holmes and Watson will work on a retired FBI agent’s murder. The plot thickens when the duo finds out that the man’s death is connected to an unsolved case.
Details have been shared by The Futon Critic.
In other Elementary scoop, the crime procedural has recruited Gotham alum Richard Kind to guest star this season. TV Line has learned the casting news.
According to the publication, Kind will portray Trent Carson – a florist who’s had enough of his noisy neighbors: Sherlock and Watson. On this note, viewers should expect for Carson to plot a revenge plan against them to get even.
Series star Lucy Liu, meanwhile, celebrated her 47th birthday two weeks ago. To make sure her day becomes extra special, the actress posted a photo of her son Rockwell on Instagram. “When it's your birthday and you're feeling...” she commented on her little boy’s cute shot while wearing a red onesie.
The looming conflict between Joan and Henry on Elementary will make for some interesting dynamic. What's more, Richard Kind’s character sounds like an exciting sequence viewers can look forward to.
Catch an all new episode of Elementary on Thursday, Jan. 7th on CBS.
