Zac Efron and Michelle Rodriguez's relationship was first made public after they were photographed getting cozy in a yacht and kissing in a club in Italy during the fourth of July weekend. They have not stopped making headlines since.
Guesting at The Wendy Williams show, internet gossip celebrity Perez Hilton said that he's worried that 34-year-old Rodriguez could be a bad influence to 26-year-old Efron, who just got out of rehab.
The Daily Mail reported Gianluca Vacchi--the couple's friend who hosted their Italian getaway--as saying, however, that the two are good for one another: "Ciao Wendy, Ciao Perez, it was funny to look at this TV episode, thank you."
He adds: "Don't be concerned, Z and Mich have a mutual healthy influence [on] each other and they are very cute together."
According to reports, Efron and Rodriguez started hooking up in 2011, shortly after Efron ended his relationship with "High School Musical" co-star Vanessa Hudgens. Rodriguez has recently parted ways with 21-year-old model girlfriend Cara Delevigne.
A source told Hollywood Life that Efron and Rodriguez bonded offer their goals of having healthier lifestyles. The "Fast and the Furious" actress was arrested a couple of years ago for DUI, and the "Neighbors" star checked in to rehab last year for alcoholism.
"During 'The Rover' after party, they hung out all night and really bonded with each other on a whole new level," said the source. "They both had something to bond over. He was there for her breakup and she was there for his substance issues and that bond has turned romantic."
