The 10th season of hit CBS crime drama "Criminal Minds" is officially coming together.
The show has started giving teasers. Photos from the first round table read have surfaced online, and on July 9, CM_SetReport, the show's official Twitter account, posted a photo of a severed leg with stitches, captioned: "Yep, it looks like we're baaaack ;-) #CriminalMinds #1001."
New faces will be joining the cast this season. Jennifer Love Hewitt ("The Ghost Whisperer," "The Client List") has signed up to play former undercover FBI agent Kate Callahan, who will reportedly work under the Behavioral Analysis Unit. Kerr Smith ("Dawson's Creek," "The Fosters,") will play an everyday man with a strange fetish: he's acromotophile, or a person who collects limbs.
Cast members Thomas Gibson, Matthew Gray Gubler, and Joe Mantegna are also expected to direct some episodes for season 10.
All cast members are set to return (except Jeanne Tripplehorn aka Alex Blake, who left in season nine), including Shemar Moore, who will also be doing other projects.
The Huffington Post reported that Moore will return for a special two-day appearance in "The Young And The Restless," to air on September 10 (Wednesday) and September 11 (Thursday). He will be reprising his character Malcolm Winters, who earned him a Daytime Emmy in 2000.
Moore was a regular in Y&R for 11 years, starting 1994. Huffpost TV said: "In the episodes, Malcolm returns to Genoa City after leaving town years before without a proper goodbye. Now, he's back for an important visit with the Winters family to make amends and catch up on everything he's missed."
Moore said that he's excited to be back on Y&R: "This is where I got my start, and I'm looking forward to reuniting with my soap opera family."
"Criminal Minds" season 10 is set to air on October 1, at 9/8c on CBS.
