Ridley Scott's sci-fi film "Prometheus" managed to wow audiences with its stunning visuals and its host of gooey alien monsters. However, the film left many viewers confused, citing problems with the writing and complaining about plot holes that made little sense upon repeat views.
Well, Ridley Scott will hopefully be fixing these errors with the upcoming "Prometheus 2." As of now, it's not clear when the sequel will be released, but kpopstarz claims that the film may be moving forward sooner than expected. According to the rumors, multiple critics are clamoring for more "Prometheus," while several journals are saying that the film should go ahead and announce its release date now in order to sate the fans who want answers to the 2012 science fiction film.
Since the sequel's already been confirmed by both Ridley Scott and and the film's star, Michael Fassbender, it couldn't hurt them to just announce the film's release.
According to another rumor, we may have some significant plot details for "Prometheus 2." According to a report from The Wrap, the film may be more in line with the "Alien" movies (of which "Prometheus" is a prequel to), as "Prometheus" was more of a stand-alone film and less of a prequel.
Also, the same report gives away that "Prometheus 2" will feature multiple Michael Fassbenders. In the first film, Fassbender's character David was an android, meaning he may have been mass-produced somewhere. This is probably to the benefit of "Prometheus 2," as Fassbender's performance was some of the most acclaimed aspects of the original film.
