'Criminal Minds' Season 10: Set report releases episode 4 teaser; more details revealed about Jeniffer Love Hewitt's character

The 10th season of "Criminal Minds" will premiere on CBS in October, and more and more exciting new information are coming out as the show approaches.

Right now, most fans already know that there will be new cast members (Jennifer Love Hewitt will join the crew and be a series regular, and Kerr Smith will play a role in the premiere), that Jeanne Tripplehorn (Alex Blake) has left, and that the rest of the cast will be returning.

The official Twitter account of the show's Set Report has recently posted a photo of a dialogue between Derek Morgan (played by Shemar Moore) and Doug Adams, a new character. It reads:

"Morgan: That shirt you're wearing is a fly shirt. [Or whatever awesome saying Shemar comes up with that doesn't sound like a white, nerdy writer wrote it]." The tweet said that this is off page 9 from episode 4, entitled "The Itch."

One of the most talked about details on the show is Hewitt's new character. She will play former undercover agent Kate Callahan--an eight-year FBI vet--who joins the BAU.

A fan asked TV Line if they have any details on Hewitt's character. The website reveals that by the end of season 10, there will be a big revelation about her personal life "that invites even more questions."

TV Line, however, quoted showrunner Erica Messer as saying: "The few things that are sort mysterious in the beginning [about her] will be answered pretty quickly on in the season."

Messer said that Kate Callahan's background is criminal psychology. "Her passion comes from wanting to make the world a safe place. She's had a lot of personal loss that makes her a patriot and a nurturing figure to those in her personal and work families," she added.

"Criminal Minds" will return to CBS on October 1, 2014.
