'Terminator: Genisys' News: Paramount Pictures announces two sequels of 'Genisys' to be released in 2017 and 2018; Are we seeing excellent fight scenes featuring a T-1000 and two T-800 in 'Genisys'?

Paramount Pictures recently revealed that the upcoming Arnold Schwarzenegger film,"Terminator: Genisys" will have two sequels that are scheduled for release in 2017 and 2018.

In an article by Science Fiction, it was reported that fans of the "Terminator" franchise will be seeing two follow-up movies of "Genisys." While the movie studio did not reveal the titles of the upcoming sequels, they did announce their release dates. The second installment of the franchise will hit the theaters on May 19, 2017, while the third is slated for a June 29, 2018 release.

From what it seems, the 2014 release of the "Terminator" movie is just the first of a trilogy, and as fans speculate, could be a reboot of the original franchise.

Other reports claim that the next two sequels will be filmed back to back, which is the reason the films will be released a year apart.

There are speculations that "Genisys" will feature different time periods. This is why probably the reason actor John Clarke, who is 45 years old, is reported to be appearing as John Connor in the sci-fi action movie. This news has led fans speculating that the younger T-800 could be his guardian.

It was also reported that actor Byung Hun Lee is playing T-1000, a shape-shifting robot that could be more powerful than a T-800. Lee's character is summoned to kill a younger Kyle Reese with the goal of preventing the latter to father a child in the future and eventually eradicate the older John Connor.

If these rumors are true, then fans of the franchise can expect a lot of actions and fight scenes between T-1000 and the two T-800s.

Other than Schwarzenegger and Lee, "Terminator: Genisys" will star Emilia Clarke as Sarah Connor, Jason Clarke as the son John, and Jai Courtney as Kyle Reese.

The movie is scheduled to hit the theaters on July 1, 2015.
