"Tom Clancy's The Division" is set to be a huge addition to the MMO world. The game is an online third-person shooter set in the aftermath of a massive viral outbreak in the United States.
The players are part of an elite organization known as the Strategic Homeland Division, and given special clearance to do whatever is necessary to save the country from the throes of viral infection and collapse.
The hype for the game is already growing. Justin Robey, a developer for the Xbox One, posted a recent comment on "The Division" that's been making the rounds online and getting people hugely excited about the game. Here's the tweet in question:
"Saw The Division running on Xbox One. Jaw dropping gorgeous. Steam and environments were unreal. Gameplay also looked to be solid. Sold!"
KpopStarz also has a ton of new updates about "Tom Clancy's The Division," stating that the game will be out sometime in 2015 (although the official date is not yet known), that the game's developer Ubisoft, has tasked three different studios with making the game in unison, and that one of the new features of "The Division" will be drones controlled via tablet.
According to their sources, the tablet will allow a second player to play "The Division" alongside the main player. Apparently, the tablet controls aren't a full-fledged second player, but they do offer some level of input for two people at once.
The game will also look spectacular. Air Herald reports that the game is being developed on the Snowdrop Engine, for Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC. Unlike a lot of games right now, this one's being developer specifically for current-gen consoles- that means no PS3 or Xbox 360 releases in the future.
