Everybody got the shock of their life when Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose decided to call it quits. But even though they seemed to have pulled their divorce out of thin air, sources hint that the couple's break was a long time coming. And there are definitely many juicy bits involved in it.
First on the list was the rumor that Amber's long-time relationship with ex-love Kanye West was part of the reason for her divorce. According to Hollywoodlife.com, the 30-year old blonde bombshell--who claimed a couple of times that the rapper had cheated on her with then wife-to-be Kim Kardashian-became equally suspicious of Wiz's loyalty to her because of her past experience.
More smoke was added to the fire, however, when rumors started circulating that Rose had been cheating with new manager Nick Cannon--something that the two have vehemently denied. To make it even worse, the former video vixen defended herself while dissing Wiz at the same time. The mother of one took to her Twitter and shared her side of the story saying that she would never cheat but that her "now ex-husband can't say the same."
According to a source of TMZ, the "Black and Yellow" rapper was caught in the act by his former wife a day before she filed divorce with another woman. These allegations, however, were not mentioned in the documents filed by Amber last Tuesday who cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason behind the separation.
On the other hand, a source close to the two dishes to E!News that the pair cared very much for each other but suffered from things moving too fast between having a baby and getting married. The insider spilled, "They really did not know each other as much as they should have before getting married. They both have not had the best pasts with relationships and when they met each other it was more lust at first sight than love at first sight."
Nevertheless, it doesn't seem like the former love birds have any possibility of kissing and making up. Amber, who filed for a sole custody for their 1-year-old son Sebastian, was met by an equally stubborn Wiz who hired high-profile divorce lawyer Laura Wasser to wave away the meager visitation rights granted to him for a physical and legal custody instead.
And if that doesn't sound expensive enough, the 27-year old singer also agreed to acknowledge their prenup, agreeing to give Rose a lump sum payment of approximately $1million and a spousal support of $5,000 a month according to New York Daily News. Yikes.
The said prenup which was signed the same day the couple married back in July 2013 runs at least eight pages long, promising Amber more compensation than what she would have gotten from a 14-month long union.
