Is Megan Fox Returning to 'Transformers 5?' Only If Shia LaBeouf Returns As Well

By

"Transformers" movies make billions of dollars at the box office. And because of that, we will always have "Transformers" movies hurling themselves at the box office, to rake in more millions.

The latest film in the series, "Transformers 5," has been going through a few changes lately. First, director Michael Bay and star Mark Wahlberg have stepped away from the franchise- and while the next "Transformers" doesn't yet have a new director or a new star, it may have a familiar face returning for another go-round.

Christian Today has the scoop- they're claiming that the chances of Fox returning to the series are very low, but under the right circumstances, she would actually return. And those circumstances include former star Shia LaBeouf returning to the franchise as well.

Here's a quote from Fox, seen in Christian Today.

"I'm not sure if I'll return. As long as things are good between everyone and Shia returns with me I'd like to see us partner up with the new cast like a crossover."

But would fans want to see Fox return to "Transformers?" As popular as the films are, Fox is not an actress that ranks highly with a lot of film fans.

Yet according to Latin Post, her return might be well-recieved. The site recently held a poll testing if fans would want Megan Fox in another "Transformers" film, and the results were an overwhelming "yes."

If the makers of "Transformers" are going on fan input, Fox might be more likely than you'd think.

Hallels has a statement from Bay on the future of the franchise, saying: "I will pass the baton for future 'Transformers' movies while I can focus somewhere else."

Later, the director added, "there's a lot that's unexplored, but that's for the next director to figure out."

Check back soon for the latest on "Transformers 5."
