With Josh Bowman leaving 'Revenge,' will he be starting a family with Emily VanCamp soon? Bowman to appear in episode 11 flashbacks after Daniel Grayson's death

By

"Revenge" season 4 episode 10 saw the end of Josh Bowman's character, Daniel Grayson, to save Emily Thorne's (Emily VanCamp) life. While they may not have a happy ending onscreen, this break from work could give the couple time to start their own family.

If there was one person who wanted Daniel to die, it was Bowman himself. According to the actor who has played the part of Daniel for four seasons, the only way to make Daniel fun is by being "despicable, disgusting and emotionless-worse than Conrad. Everything that he never wanted to be times 10!"

Bowman has been gunning for Daniel's death since season 3, in fact. "I love working on the show, but I'm just being honest. My character has flip-flopped the most, and it's been so hard for me to play," Bowman tells TV Guide in 2013.

On the most recent episode of "Revenge," Bowman already got his wish, but fans will still be able to see him on January's episode 11 through some flashbacks. According to IB Times, episode 11, "Epitaph," is the mid-season premiere that shows Victoria Grayson mourning the loss of his son, Daniel.

"Epitaph" will be covering the events that happened after Daniel's death, IB Times mentions, with the promo clip showing Victoria "rushing to her son's lifeless body."

Real life couple Bowman and VanCamp had been together since "Revenge" started, and now that Bowman's character has been killed off in season 4, many are wondering what will happen with his relationship with VanCamp.

Bowman himself wanted his character to die, shares KpopStarz, saying that he is "eager to have a break from work."

As he takes a break from work, it could give the couple time to consider marriage or having a baby, with VanCamp eager to start a family. "I find myself dreaming about it all the time. In your late 20s, you start to realize you can't call yourself a baby anymore," VanCamp shares with Elle Canada.

Bowman is expecting his exit to not cripple the show in anyway, with the actor thinking that the death might help the show progress. Talking to TV Line, Bowman explains, "I think it was a good decision for the story, and I think it'll definitely serve its purpose to help the writers move forward."

Also from Bowman: "A death on this show can impact all the other characters."

Bowman also tells TV Line that he considers Daniel's death to be "fitting" and reaching a "full circle" with him being gunned down ironically after shooting Thorne in an earlier season.
