"Star Trek 3" is still in pre-production stage after the re-organization of its crew. Casting is still open and they are looking for 3 new additional members and one main antagonist for the upcoming film. Bryan Cranston has been rumored to be casted as the main villain in the upcoming Star Trek Film and there are a lot of potential villains that will best fit him.
Justin Lin will take over the helm in the upcoming "Star Trek 3" film after JJ Abrams chose to direct "Star Wars: The Force Awakens". Simon Pegg and Doug Jung will be teaming up to write the script for the upcoming film and it was reported that Roberto Orci's story will no longer be used in the latest Star Trek.
Reports have it that there will be three new major female characters for the upcoming Star Trek film. One of them will be a captain of another Federation ship and the other will be the President of the United Federation of Planets. The third female was reported to be one of the ex-wife of Doctor McCoy.
According to a recent report, Star Trek 3 will reveal the crew of the Enterprise after their five year mission. These could lead to three potential villains for the latest film in the Star Trek film franchise.
The Klingons might get a comeback in the upcoming film considering that they are a resilient and legendary in Star Trek lore. The Dominion may make an entrance and it will be a perfect time since they have the extreme craving to satisfy their hunger for power and domination. The Cardassians are also a good contender as a main villain in Star Trek 3 since they have the intelligence and Obsidian Order agents which will make the battle against them more interesting.
If these possible villains is true and Bryan Cranston is currently negotiating with Paramount Pictures there are several Main Villain roles for the Breaking Bad actor in the upcoming "Star Trek 3" film, which includes the following:
General Chang - is a military genius from the Klingons who is considered to be one of the most formidable adversaries of the original crew of the Enterprise.
Q - is also one of the most popular antagonist in the whole history of Star Trek. Cranston's Walter White character has showed a strong sense of omnipotence and it will fit perfectly with Q's arrogant character.
Gul Dukat - is a Cardassian Admiral who has a subtle character yet has a propensity for brutality. Bryan can portray him efficiently since his Heisenberg character has exemplified a calm yet shockingly violent character.
