Gamers who have been anticipating the upcoming "Batman: Arkham Knight" from Rocksteady Studios should be ready to solve a few more mysteries as the developers recently released the enigma packed gameplay trailer. Also, gamers better have those IDs ready especially after ESRB rated the video game "Mature."
"Batman: Arkham Knight - Gotham is Mine" gameplay trailer was uploaded in the Playstation YouTube Channel. The video featured some of the most vicious villains that shook the core of Gotham's law enforcement; and the only force to contain them was Batman. The "Mature" rating from ESRB meant that the video game may contain "Blood, Language, Suggestive Themes and Violence." In the video, "Scarecrow" lead a diabolical plan that involved Poison Ivy, Two-Face and The Riddler to name a few.
Meanwhile, Rocksteady founder was Sefton Hill genuinely did not expect having the "M" rating for the upcoming "Batman: Arkham Knight." Then again, the rating did not affect Hill's perception of the upcoming game, based on a report from Design & Trend. Hill added that "it would have been wrong to water down the game and deliver a story we didn't believe in to keep the game 'mass market' or enable it for more people."
In another article, Hill defended the content of the upcoming "Batman: Arkham Knight" game and even gave a few details of what gamers could expect in the upcoming title. Hill said that "as the end of the trilogy, we have every villain in Gotham working together to destroy Batman;" he added that "it's unavoidable that some bad stuff is going to happen."
Hill clarified, though, that they were not for blood and gore. He said that "we're not including gratuitous blood or swearing; he added that "we want to deliver a true end with no compromises, and it takes us to some dark places."
"Batman: Arkham Knight" would be expected for release on June 02nd. With still a lot mystery surrounding the game, plus the first time "M" rating the franchise ever received, anything can happen. Hopefully, the events to occur in the game would be a fitting tribute to the caped crusader.
