Avalanche Studios have made several announcements with their "Mad Max" project which might not be pleasing to every gamer's ear. For one, they have cancelled the game's release on PS3 and Xbox 360. Then, they pushed the released date to Sept. 01stfor North America.

The surprising announcement for "Mad Max" were caught by several gaming websites, based on the report from Cinema Blend. The cancellation of the game's release on PS3 and Xbox 360 had enabled the developers to reallocate much of their time, budget and effort in making the game's "stunning vistas" and "effects that will challenge that gamer's expectations of what the Wasteland might look like."

Also, the change on the release date would give some leverage for the developers to breathe life to what they were imagining for "Mad Max." With a game set for release on PS4 and the PC, gamers would be expecting better graphic design and enhanced gaming experience from Avalanche Studios most especially that they were already resolved at not downgrading the game's details.

Meanwhile, the developers have prepared some bonuses for the anticipating gamers who pre-order "Mad Max." The gamers would be treated to an "exclusive car body called the Ripper." The mount would come with a "V8 engine, custom off-road tires, ram, special suspension and exhaust."

If Avalanche Studios would make good of their promise, "Mad Max" would possibly join the ranks of other hot titles set for release on "next generation" game consoles. These games had announced a smooth run at 1080p60. There were also games that would be tapping 4K support that would guarantee sheer wow-factor in the game experience.

"Mad Max" would be a post-apocalyptic vehicular combat game based on the 1979 film. The project would see Avalanche Studios working with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment to bring to the gaming world the desolate world of Mad Max.
