As fans anticipated the release of "Mortal Kombat X" this coming April 14th, NetherRealm Studios confirmed the appearance of two additional fighters in the game. Also, the developers teased a bit upon saying the fans should expect a cinematic feel of the latest fighting game.

NetherRealm Studios producer Adam Urbano dropped the bomb and mentioned that Cassie Cage's father, Johnny Cage, would be joining the elite fighters in the blood stained arena of "Mortal Kombat X," based on a report from Shoryuken. The "Mortal Kombat" veteran's name was mentioned twice; first, Urbano said that Johnny Cage would be part of the game's storyline and second, Urbano also added that Cage would be a playable character.

Another character to appear in "Mortal Kombat X" would be Kenshi, which was also mentioned by Urbano in an IGN interview, based on a report from International Business Times. Urbano went on and said that Kenshi would be spotted with a number of unidentified fighters. However, this would not be the first time NetherRealm Studios would tease their hard core fans regarding who were the characters to appear in the upcoming game.

In an earlier report, the game developers also tackled on the possibility of including characters from horror movies like "Friday the 13th" and "A Nightmare on Elm Street" to name a few. If that were to happen, "Mortal Kombat X" would be deluxe.

Speaking of movies, the developers have also confirmed that they have made a few improvements on the game's graphic design to give it a cinematic feel. It was part of their effort to make the gamers visualize every fight as doing their own action movie, "Mortal Kombat" style.

Meanwhile, gamers who would like to refresh their memory on the skill set of each character could check out a list compiled by Event Hubs. The list would contain information on various abilities and how these could be executed. However, the list would not be absolutely precise as one of the readers commented. Nonetheless, it would be worth a try checking it out, especially for the newbies.

"Mortal Kombat X" would be released on PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360. Gamers should also expect the upcoming game of one of the most popular fighting game franchises to reach the mobile gaming market.
