It is coming soon - the CW Network has announced the dates for the final episodes of their current television programs, including 'The Flash' and 'Arrow,' according to a report by iDigitalTimes. The first season of 'The Flash' is set to end on May 19, while 'Arrow' will see the final episode of its third season on May 26.
The two successful superhero flicks are currently on hiatus, with 'The Flash' returning on March 17, Tuesday and 'Arrow' coming back the following day on March 18. Both of these shows went into mid-winter breaks on suspenseful yet exciting cliffhanger episodes, leaving a lot of fans to speculate what would happen on the following weeks approaching the finales.
Arrow
In the last episode before the hiatus, Oliver Queen and John Diggle infiltrated Ra's al Ghul's fortress to rescue Malcolm Merlyn. The duo get captured, but instead of Ra's killing all three of them, he offers Oliver the opportunity to become the next head of the League of Assassins. It is unclear as of yet whether Ollie is going to accept Ra's offer, but the promo video released by CW for the return episode hints on him contemplating to become the next Ra's al Ghul. There is also the speculation that one of the major characters of the show is going to die sometime during the 19th episode titled "Broken Arrow," after actor Stephen Amell posted a cryptic message on his social media accounts.
The Flash
Secrets are starting to be unfolded in 'The Flash.' The last episode featured the reveal of Dr. Harrison Wells as the Reverse Flash, the introduction of Gorilla Grodd (who abducts and probably kills General Wade Eiling), and the end of the Firestorm storyline. The question on many of the fans' minds is, "how long will it be until Barry and his friends discover the identity of the Reverse Flash?" The spoilers of the come-back episode reveal the return of the Weather Wizard, who is seeking revenge on Joe for the death of his brother. It also appears that Wells' secrets may finally be discovered, and Barry may finally have another face-off against the man that killed his mother.
