'Avengers: Age of Ultron' credits to give big reveals on 'Infinity War?' Thanos trailer provides clues

Avengers: Age of Ultron isn't even in theaters yet, but it's never too early to start speculating on what might be in the film- and, even more importantly, what wonderful Marvel teases are going to be hidden in the film's end credits.

The teaser could go any number of ways. Like the original Avengers film, the teaser could set up something larger in the overall Marvel universe, like the presence of Thanos and his quest for the Infinity Stones. Or, also like the first Avengers film, there could just be a humorous little joke at the end of the credits, like where the Avengers sit around, eating shawarma in silence (or in Guardians of the Galaxy, which ends with a shout-out to much-maligned Marvel hero Howard the Duck).

However, the most likely option is that Age of Ultron will, in fact, tease us something new about Thanos. After all, that's what the last Avengers film did, right? As well, MoviePilot ranks the potential post-credits teases that could follow Age of Ultron, and while there are a number of potential options- introducing a new superhero, showing a villain rising from the dead (Ultron, maybe?), adding Spider-Man or the Guardians of the Galaxy or another shawarma scene, Infinity War makes the most sense.

And if that's the case, it'll have to be something more than what was already teased by Marvel before- Thanos, placing the Infinity Gauntlet on his hand and feeling his absolute power, as pictured above. That clip was shown when marvel first announced Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 and Part 2, so for new footage they'd have to go above and beyond. Maybe, a hint at Thanos's plans for universal domination? Or is Thanos aligning with another villain we've already seen, like the Red Skull or Ultron? The possibilities are endless.

Avengers: Age of Ultron will premiere on May 1, 2015.
