Set to release this October, Rock Band 4 will be in 1080/60fps frame rate, as reported by the UK industry magazine. According to the said report, the game will be more realistic in terms of its visual appearance as Harmonix told earlier that they will be hitting the next-generation consoles for the upcoming game.
Recently, there were reports stating that Harmonix, the game developer behind the hyped and well-anticipated music gaming this year, that they will be setting the graphics in accord to the requirements suited for the next-generation consoles.
Eric Pope, the brand manager of Rock Band 4, mentioned about Harmonix's plan to build a new engine to make use of the new hardware. In addition, there will be more realistic lighting as well as character models and animation to include in the same game.
Moreover, Pope said that the game will be a more interactive gaming experience for avid Rock Band players whom the game developer promised to have the optimal music game worth having. He said, "It'll be at 1080p and it will run at 60fps," he added, "I know there's a vocal group of players that want to hear that. But what to me is more exciting is the online infrastructure of the consoles. It will open a lot [of] opportunities for us to support the game in more reactive, timely ways."
Rumored to release along its rival, Guitar Hero, Rock Band 4 will return to hit consoles by October this year, while its rival will also have its comeback. Another thing to consider is if Harmonix will pursue its high prices for the platforms.
Previously, it was already expected that there would be a possibility that the game will be a bit expensive as planned. But there would also be some experimentation to make if what could be preferable to consumers as Harmonix Music Systems CEO and co-founder Alex Rigopulos said in earlier interviews.
Meanwhile, Harmonix hasn't confirmed if the music game will also come to PC version. If so, it would likely to arrive around later in 2015 or perhaps early 2016. Right now, fans could assure that Rock Band 4 will arrive in PS4 and Xbox One.
