It seemed that CD Projekt RED was a much as excited in releasing their game as the gaming community was in getting their hands on it. The developers of "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" recently released three new screens featuring the game's sheer beauty.

The latest screenshots for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" featured three images that were likened to paintings on canvass. However beautiful the images were, CD Projekt RED clarified that the screens did not include any from the "ultra" settings as they wanted the gamers to experience that for themselves. The three screens included an additional image that featured the map of "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt." The map showed the borders of the Northern Realms, Novigrad, Kaer Morhen, Oxenfurt and Vizima.

Add to that, the information on the main protagonists in "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" had been released. Geralt of Rivia would be the wandering witcher. He would be wearing the Wolf Medallion that would warn him of impending danger. Triss would be a young sorceress who would also be Geralt's lover. She specialized in healing magic.

Meanwhile, Yennefer of Vengerberg was Geralt's former teacher and caregiver. She was also considered as among the key female characters in the books and games. Cirilla Fiona Ellen Riannon or Ciri was Geralt's apprentice who in a bitter twist of fate had been separated from Geralt several times; in the upcoming installment, Geralt would continue his search for Ciri. Then there's Vesemir, the oldest living Witcher, who would play a pivotal role in "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt."

Additionally, a gamer shared his experience with the game during the PAX East 2015 held in Boston. Based on the short time he played "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt," he said that the game's technical and design elements were impressive. Add to that, the map was very well populated by both people and monsters that would surely make the gaming experience truly remarkable.

"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" would be released on May 19th for PS4 and Xbox One.
