Rumors were true after all as Sony Xperia Z4 is indeed coming up soon with a new benchmark test yesterday revealing the device with its killer specs, including the processor and the camera, and many other promising features in storage and screen resolution.
GFXBench has revealed Sony's next flagship smartphone, Xperia Z4, sporting Qualcomm's 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 810 chipset with four ARM Cortex-A57 and four Cortex-A53 cores. This is performing better than Snapdragon 808 which LG is spotted using for its upcoming G4 device. Xperia Z4 also boasts a 20MP rear camera with LED flash, a 5MP front shooter.
Xperia Z4 will wear a 5.1-inch 1080 x 1920-pixel screen resolution with at least five-finger gesture support, Adreno 430 graphics, plus 3GB of RAM and 23GB of internal storage. While Z4's predecessors Z3 and Z2 runs on a recessive Android KitKat operating system, Sony's next-gen smartphone will be powered by Android 5.0.2 Lolipop.
With code number Sony E6553, reports safely assume that it is the Z4 device that appeared on GFXBench. Meanwhile, Xperia Z4 has earlier been reported to fare well with leading smartphone brands in the market, like Apple and Samsung.
In the Facebook page of Sony Xperia, it shows what it called the Z4 device with all-white panels whose camera with two unidentified lenses underneath is placed on the top-right side of the rear chassis. The leaked image also shows Sony's signature OmniBalance design, while said to have dust and water resistance technology too. A single port flap on the left side is expected to house the SIM card and microSD card slots.
The 20MP camera is reported to have IMX230 image sensor for real-time HD video resolution and phase detection autofocus. In terms of battery, Z4 is reported to wear a 3400 mAh which will is good for 8 hours of total use. Sony's Xperia Z4 is expected to come out in the third quarter of 2015, particularly during the IFA show on September 4 to 9 in Berlin. Xperia Z4 is pegged at $1,250.
