‘Arrow’ and ‘The Flash’ Spin-off Spoilers: Dominic Purcell reprises his role as Mick Rory; Hawkgirl and Rip Hunter joining the superhero team up

The 'Arrow' and 'The Flash' spin-off is currently in development and the potential series has already announced some of its cast members as well as other details regarding the show. Dominic Purcell has joined Brandon Routh, Wentworth Miller, Victor Garber and still-to-be-known Caity Lotz in the superhero team-up show.

The 'Arrow' and 'The Flash' spin-off spoilers revealed that the producers will also have their own major DC bad guy and it isn't a character that they have already used, apart from the hero-studded spin-off. According to Deadline, Dominic Purcell will reprise his role as Mick Rory. Many knew that Rory is a pyromaniac who finds an outlet for his obsession with fire. He teams up with Leonard Snart/Captain Cold and becomes the villain known as Heat Wave.

It was also told that the new project, which eyed for a midseason launch next season, extends 'The Flash' reunion of Prison Break stars Miller and Purcell and would mark the first series for both actors since the cult Fox drama.

Recent trailer for 'Arrow' and 'The Flash' spin-off spoilers last week teased the upcoming episodes of the two series featuring the Atom, Captain Cold and Heat Wave.

Meanwhile, another superhero will be added to the spin-off. Ciara Renee of Broadway's "Pippin" is joining the show to play the part of Kendra Saunders a.k.a. Hawkgirl. Hawkgirl is the one who discovers that she is actually the reincarnation of a number of female warriors who came before her. She has a list of extensive powers that can come out when provoked, according to Deadline.

Recently, Deadline also reported that another superhero Rip Hunter, played by British actor Arthur Darvill, is joining the upcoming spin-off.

Meanwhile, according to a report, the producer of 'Arrow' and 'The Flash' Greg Berlanti said that the concept of the show is somewhat akin to the 'Magnificent Seven' meets 'Ocean's Eleven' but with superheroes overload.
